Books for Little Free Libraries

Cobb EMC employees collected more than 100 adult and children's books to deliver to Little Free Libraries across our service area with the goal of bringing educational resources to everyone over the summer break. 

School Supplies for Powers Ferry Elementary

Cobb EMC's employee-led Education & Community Relations Committee collected school supplies for Powers Ferry Elementary. We're proud to volunteer in and support the communities we serve.

Blankets for MUST Ministries

Cobb EMC donated blankets to clients at MUST to help them stay warm during the winter.

On Valentine's Day, we visited multiple senior living centers in Woodstock, Austell and Marietta.

July Fourth Cookie Delivery

July 4th is one of the busiest holidays for first responders and we wanted to show our appreciation.

We delivered delicious cookies and brownies to local fire departments.

Thanksgiving Gift Card Donations

Cobb & Douglas Public Health has done so much for our community during the pandemic, including testing, research, and keeping us informed about the virus.

To show our appreciation, we donated gift cards to CDPH employees.

Mini-grants for local teachers

Cobb EMC donated $21,000 in mini-grants to 48 elementary, middle and high school teachers across the electric utility’s service area.

Mini-grants help cover classroom expenses, like supplies and technology for classroom projects.

We surprised healthcare workers at Children's Healthcare at Town Center with goodie bags filled with gifts.
