Clean Operations

Cobb EMC is committed to powering a clean energy future. Our office is equipped with 1.5 MW of solar, a 13,140 kWh solar flower garden, 1 MW/4 MWh of battery storage, and a 1 MW natural gas generator. These resources combined create a microgrid that helps us power our operations with renewable energy and save on power costs, all while learning how to better support solar and battery project needs for large power customers. See how it works and view a summary of our current and historical renewable energy output below.
