Cobb EMC’s community efforts have evolved over the years to include a significant emphasis on education and literacy initiatives that have impacted countless students, cooperative members, and the community. Our unique outreach programs include support for various ongoing education and non-profit organizations with programs that benefit local communities that Cobb EMC serves throughout its five-county service territory. We are committed to illuminating pathways to success.
Partners in Education
Cobb EMC is a Partner at Large serving 150 local schools in our service area to provide educational resources to students. Our participation includes sponsoring a variety of programs, activities and special events throughout the school year.
Cobb EMC Scholarships
We value providing educational opportunities for students in our community. Cobb EMC awards several scholarships annually to young student-members in support of furthering education.
Cobb EMC Youth Leadership Program
Offers high school juniors a $500, $1,000, or $1,500 scholarship, along with a paid student summer internship. Youth Leadership Program students also compete to represent Cobb EMC on the Washington Youth Tour.
Educational Speaker
Cobb EMC employees are available to give presentations to local schools and organizations.
