Payment Arrangements
We understand that life’s challenges can arise unexpectedly, and we’re here to support our members during difficult times. Cobb EMC offers payment arrangements, providing residential members with a flexible way to schedule a series of payments within 30 days to avoid service interruptions.
Assistance agencies may assist a member who is having trouble paying his or her electric and/or gas bill. Each has unique eligibility requirements and the right to refuse assistance to a member. A payment arrangement can be made via online request, payment arrangement form, email, or live chat. To set up a payment arrangement, please contact our Member Care Center at (770) 429-2100 during business hours. Alternatively, you can request a payment arrangement by filling out the form below. A member care representative will respond to your request within 2-3 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Members can request a payment arrangement by calling our member care center at 770-429-2100 during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or completing the “request a payment arrangement form.” A member care representative will contact them within two business days.
Members can qualify for a payment arrangement if they are listed on the account and are not on a PrePay account. Please note that members who have broken a payment arrangement in the last six (6) months are not eligible. Members must call prior to their disconnect date to establish their payment arrangement.
Broken payment arrangements are subject to disconnect on the next business day. Additionally, if an arrangement is broken, the member is ineligible to establish another payment arrangement for 6 months.
Members will be contacted by a member care representative within two to three business days.
While there is no payment arrangement application, members can contact a member care representative to set up a payment arrangement by calling our member care center during business hours, completing the "Request a Payment Arrangement" form below, or utilizing the chat feature on our website.
To make modifications to a pre-existing arrangement, members must speak with a member care representative at 770-429-2100.
There is no limit to the number of payment arrangements that a member can have, as long as they have no broken arrangements or have an unpaid payment arrangement within the past six (6) months.
Yes, assistance agencies can make payments on your arrangement, as long as it adheres to your agreement dates and amounts.
No, payment arrangements will have to be made manually. However, you can schedule your payments to be drafted on a specific date. View our variety of ways to pay your bill here.
Any bills marked as "past due" will be subject to late fees.
