Cobb EMC's goal is to provide safe, adequate and reliable electric service and value to its members. Please click on the links below to learn more about our various rates.

  • Smart Choice RateBeginning in January 2016 all new Cobb EMC members are automatically enrolled in this billing method. Learn more about the Smart Choice RateClick here for information to help you understand how to read your bill.

  • Even Bill Rate: Enjoy the same daily/monthly bill for one full year. Twelve months of billing history is required to elect this rate.

  • Standard Rate: Applicable for all single-phase family dwellings, provided they are individually metered. This rate is not applicable to new members after January 1, 2016. Click here for information to help you understand how to read your bill.

  • Distributed Generation: Each member generator of the cooperative shall be charged for electric service under this rate schedule.

Other information:

  • Senior Plan: An exemption is available to members who are 65 years of age (or older) who are on a fixed income.

  • Wholesale Power Adjustment: An adjustment to recover all variable costs related to wholesale power purchases.

 

The following rates are no longer available as of June 1, 2016:

  • Simple Bill

  • Residential Time of Use (TOU)

  • Residential Critical Peak Pricing (CPP)
