What are peak conservation hours?

Peak conservation hours take place on certain days in the months of June through September and are the period between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. only when we are experiencing high peak energy use. This is the time to save energy and money.

 

How will I know when peak conservation hours occur?

We have prepared several ways to notify you when we are experiencing peak conservation hours.

We will only call peak conservation hours when there is a high probability that we will have a very high energy use day that will impact wholesale power costs. Following are recorded peak conservation hours for 2016.
