COVID-19 relief project
Our commitment to you goes beyond electricity. And one of our top priorities as your electric cooperative is the safety and well-being of members like you, our employees, and the community. In light of the COVID-19 situation, we've taken measures to better serve our community.
Here's what we're doing:
- We will return to normal business operations on July 22 and resume disconnects for nonpayment. We're encouraging members to take steps to bring their accounts current. If you're having trouble paying your bill, you can request a payment arrangement or view our resources for payment assistance.
- Cobb EMC and the Cobb EMC Community Foundation have collectively given more than $68,000 to support our local community during COVID-19. Behind the scenes, employees have spent time contacting retailers to find supplies to donate to local organizations who are feeding families and seniors in our service area. We’ve collected books to donate to civilians who are in quarantine at Dobbins Air Reserve Base and the Clay National Guard Center.
Donate to Emergency Relief Funding
The Cobb EMC Community Foundation is fully funded by Cobb EMC members and run by volunteer members to support our community. To date, the Foundation has given more than $5 million back to 1,076 organizations in our service area. If you’d like to help and are able to make an optional small donation, please complete below and we’ll round up your bill. This donation will apply to your next bill. Your donation will go toward assisting non-profit organizations working hard to support our community.
